See the AMLR courseNot a trailer and not an extract. This is Module 1, lesson 1 of AML/CFT and KYC in Luxembourg practice exactly as it plays inside the course, with subtitles. No account, no payment, nothing to fill in.
Why this framework looks the way it is. Four instruments, four different legal weights. Knowing which layer holds what is the difference between finding an obligation and hunting in the wrong document.
The whole lesson, free, with no account. Nothing plays until you press play, and the subtitles are on, so it can be watched with the sound off.
Articles 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the coordinated text, and the two articles inserted in July 2026 that most internal procedures do not yet cover.

For compliance officers, legal teams and fund professionals who need a clear working route from the rule to the file, decision or response.
Four situations that come up again and again in Luxembourg legal, compliance and fund teams.
You have been in the same role for years and nobody has told you what is actually missing.
You find out what the regulator expects only when something has already gone wrong.
You are technically strong, and the promotion went to someone who could name the framework.
Three regulatory frameworks changed in three years and you have not had time to read any of them properly.
The assessment reads your answers against the track you work in. Pick the one closest to your function.
Counsel in a regulated or corporate entity. Negotiation, governance, budget ownership and board reporting.
Compliance, AML and regulatory functions. Risk assessment, monitoring plans and CSSF inspections.
Fund operations, oversight and structuring. AIFMD, NAV, delegate oversight and ManCo governance.
Five minutes of questions produce a written page and one course recommended, not a score. A worked example is below.
A constructed example. Not a real person's result: the answers in it were invented for the illustration.
Read against 3 to 8 years in the Luxembourg financial sector.
You are in Compliance, at Officer level, with 3 to 8 years in the Luxembourg financial sector. Entity type: Management company or AIFM. The role you want next is Head of function.
Head of function is not more of the same work. At that level the framework expects ownership of the risk assessment, handling the supervisor directly and reporting to the board. Work at Officer level rarely forces you to build any of them, which is why the distance stays invisible until an interview or an inspection exposes it.
In this order. One, dealing with the CSSF. Two, AML/CFT and KYC in Luxembourg practice. Three, the 2027 AML package. That is an indicative priority, taken from your three confidence answers, weakest first. It orders suggestions, it does not measure impact.
It is the lowest of your three answers: on dealing with the CSSF you answered "I have seen correspondence but not handled it". The other two are above it.

The five minute assessment recommends one from your answers and explains why.
A self-assessment, not a test. Nobody marks you, so it is only as accurate as your own honesty. It takes about five minutes and the result is on the page at the end.
From primary sources: Luxembourg legislation on Legilux, the CSSF's regulations, circulars and published sanction decisions, EU regulation on EUR-Lex, and ESMA guidelines. Where no public source describes a practice, that is said rather than filled in.

Optional, and your result is complete without it. If you give it, the written report is sent and nothing else is. It is not sold, not shared with employers or recruiters, and it can be deleted at any time through the contact page.
