Who writes these courses, and how they are built
Regulatory training is only worth what its sources are worth. This page sets out where every sentence in these courses comes from, how it is dated, and what the certificates do and do not mean.
Who is behind it
The Primary Source editorial team
Publishes the courses on this site
Primary Source publishes Luxembourg regulatory training. Each course names its legal sources article by article, so you can open the underlying instruments directly.
The seller is identified in full, by name and postal address, in the legal section, which is where the seller of anything sold here has to be identifiable, and the same identification is on the terms of sale.
There is no biography and no list of credentials on this site, and there will not be one that has not been given. The claim being made is narrower and it is checkable: every statement of law in every lesson names the instrument and the article it comes from, so the material can be tested without taking anybody's word for it.
Five rules the material is written under
Primary sources only
Every statement of law in these courses is taken from the instrument itself: the coordinated text on Legilux, the regulation or circular on cssf.lu, the Official Journal text on EUR-Lex, the guidelines on the ESMA or EBA site. Not from a summary, not from a law firm briefing, not from another training provider.
Nothing asserted without a citation
If a sentence in a lesson says an obligation exists, the article that creates it is named in the same breath, with the version of the text it comes from. Where an instrument is silent, the lesson says it is silent rather than filling the gap with an opinion.
A source register per lesson
Each lesson of the AML/CFT, CSSF Readiness and AMLR 2027 courses ends with every instrument it was built from, with a link to the official text, so the course can be checked against the law rather than believed. The registers are public, including on the lessons that sit inside the paywall. In the CCDL course every sentence carries its article and the consolidated version of the code or law, ready to open on Legilux.
Dated editions
Each course carries its own content version rather than a vague "up to date", listed below and printed on the certificate. Each source is dated in the lesson that cites it.
It certifies no one
The certificates record that a person completed a course and passed its assessments, with the content version and the runtime on them. They are evidence for a training file. They are not a professional qualification and this site is not affiliated with the CSSF or any other authority, which is said on every page and again in the legal section.
When each course was last brought up to date
The content version identifies the edition of the lessons, transcripts and source registers. The same date appears on the certificate.
Check it before you buy it
Two lessons of every course are open to everyone: with the video, the transcript and the full source register in the three regulatory courses, and with the full text, the written questions and their model answers in the CCDL course.
